Their work transforms traditional Andean genressuch as huayo, caporal, andkullawadainto complex, unpolished, and hyper-active sonic landscapes using electric guitars, swirling snare drums, and traditional instrumentation.Founded by artists Chuquimamani-Condori and Joshua Chuquimia Crampton, Los Thuthanaka bridges the past, present and future of their their Aymara and Pakajaqi heritage through a potent blend of traditional rhythms, ceremonial textures and psychedelic rock to create a style of Native American music unheard until now. Their debut album Los Thuthanaka was released to a worldwide wave of acclaim in March 2025.
