How to plan a concert night, from doors to the journey home

Start with the event, then build the evening around it
Check the date, venue and ticket type on the seller's event page before booking anything else. A tour may have several dates in the same city, and similarly named venues can be miles apart. Save the venue's full address, not just its name. Eventsuno links each event to its venue and nearby places so you can compare the practical options together.
Doors and show time are different
Doors opening is not necessarily the time the artist starts. Support acts, entry checks and cloakroom queues can all affect your plans. Use the event or venue's published timings; if a finish time has not been announced, keep the journey home flexible. Do not assume that a time displayed by a ticket seller includes every part of the programme.
Plan food around the entrance you will use
A restaurant close to the venue on a map can still be inconvenient if the entrance is on the other side of a railway line or large arena complex. Open the directions link and check the walking route. Confirm the restaurant's opening hours for your event date, allow time for service and tell the restaurant if you have a fixed departure time. Nearby listings describe proximity; they do not guarantee a table or a late kitchen.
Check the rules before leaving
Look for the venue's bag policy, age restrictions, accepted ID, accessible entrance and any restrictions on cameras or bottles. Download your ticket through the authorised seller's app when required. A screenshot may not work for a ticket with a changing barcode. Charge your phone and decide how your group will reconnect if reception is poor.
Arrange the journey home before the show
Check the last train or bus against a confirmed finish time, allowing for the walk out of the venue. For driving, check car park closing times, height limits and whether event pricing applies. For a taxi or rideshare, follow the venue's pickup instructions rather than assuming vehicles can stop at the main entrance.
Keep one final check in the plan
Reopen the official event page on the day for postponements, cancellations and changed timings. Tickets, travel and accommodation can have different refund rules. Keep confirmation emails together and contact the business that took your booking if you need help with it.
